Responsibilities include:

  • Administering medications safely and effectively
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments to inform care plans
  • Providing health education to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program
  • An active registration with the College of Nurses and good standing
  • Proficiency with medical equipment, including monitors and ventilators
  • Experience with tracheostomy and ventilation care is highly valued
  • Previous community nursing experience is desirable
  • CPR/First Aid certification and up-to-date immunization records are mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
