Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Supervisor to join our team at Triple G Trucking. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Truck Drivers
    • Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are meeting their delivery schedules and adhering to company policies.
    • Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Monitor and Maintain Fleet Operations
    • Conduct regular inspections of our fleet to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
    • Identify and address any maintenance or repair issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and Develop Team Members
    • Provide on-the-job training to new drivers and supervisors.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver performance and safety.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations
    • Ensure all drivers and supervisors are aware of and comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role in the trucking industry.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week.
