Hakkalicious is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
This is a permanent position with 35 to 44 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
