We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisitions Specialist to join our team at VICOSTONE CANADA INC.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to leverage their procurement expertise and contribute to the growth of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the acquisition of general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Purchasing goods and services from external suppliers, ensuring compliance with established specifications and quality standards.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, focusing on cost savings and delivery timelines.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication and collaborative partnerships.
  • Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and optimize existing supply chains.
  • Managing inventory levels, tracking orders, and resolving any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of experience in procurement, acquisitions, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software tools.
