Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in the Acute Medicine Unit, 12 West. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating care within an interprofessional team, and participating in unit-based projects and hospital committees.

  • Provide RPN responsibilities for general medicine, geriatric, ALC, and palliative inpatients.
  • Coordinate care within an interprofessional team.
  • Complete electronic Meditech 6.0 documentation system.
  • Participate in unit-based projects or hospital committees as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have:

  • A graduate degree from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two-year diploma program.
  • Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to set priorities.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent medical/geriatric experience.
