Radiological Technologist 3 Computed Tomography/General Procedures Position

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist 3 to join the Computed Tomography team at Whistler Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing special procedure examinations in CT, observing safe radiation protection practices, and operating computerized imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform special procedure examinations in CT in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- Operate computerized imaging equipment, including processing and archiving of acquired data.
- Monitor patient during procedures and equipment performance.
- Prepare examination trays and patients for specific procedures.
- Enter relevant data into the radiology information system.
Qualifications:
- Certification with the CAMRT (Computed Tomography).
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography and one (1) year recent, related experience in CT radiology procedures, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.
