Job Summary

This is a casual opportunity, with hours not guaranteed and shifts may be at short notice. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients with a range of medical conditions. Your skills and experience will be utilized to the fullest, and you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Administer medications and provide personal care to patients
  • Work collaboratively with the emergency department team to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Two (2) years recent related experience in an acute care setting
