Job Summary:

GCG has an immediate need for a skilled Client Reporting & Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing support in creating reports and statements for distribution to our clients, as well as supporting the operational side of our Client Relationship Management system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, maintain, and produce quarterly statements for clients, including inter-period calculations of closed accounts.
  • Lead the preparation and maintenance of reporting for high-profile and sensitive clients.
  • Document and report on all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), including error logs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports for a specific set of clients.
  • Provide backup for the monthly and quarterly reports for a specific set of clients.
  • Provide backup for our quarterly statement production.
  • Upload client investment data to our Client Portal on a weekly basis.

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various teams on new and existing client reporting requirements and requests.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc client and portfolio reporting using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Work with the assigned Business Analyst to develop and maintain dashboards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with other duties and initiatives as requested.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the securities industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Client service experience preferred with acute attention to detail.
  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce would be an asset.
  • Experience with investment accounting and reporting products would be an asset.
  • Programming knowledge of VBA, Python, or SQL would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience.
