Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Roots of Punjab Bar & Restaurant LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Labour Cost Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make data-driven decisions to optimize staffing levels.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the restaurant maintains a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position.
  • 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
