Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene and sterilization protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Assist dentists and hygienists with procedures, taking and developing X-rays as needed.
- Record patient information and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Polish and buff dentures, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Perform other administrative and clinical tasks as required, supporting the efficient operation of our dental practice.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain attention to detail.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting and bending.
