Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team as a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing intermediate IMAC activities, handling software installation/support/upgrades, and providing first-level Help Desk support.

About the Role:

  • You will perform hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, POS devices, etc.
  • You will handle software installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • You will provide deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • You will respond to and close calls from our National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
  • You will communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish ETA, and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • You must have at least 1-2 years of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
  • You must have strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • You must have A+ certification.
  • You may have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or from OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • You must be a self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • You must have exceptional customer service skills and good communication skills.
  • You must be able to work independently or as part of a team and complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • You must be available to work flexible schedules.
  • You must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.

Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
