About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Technologist to join our team at Swiss Vault Canada Inc. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic components and systems.
  • Estimation and Scheduling: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for electronic projects.
  • Specifications Writing: Write detailed specifications for electronic components and systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components and systems.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and compile operational or experimental data for analysis.
  • Research and Development: Conduct applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
  • Test Equipment Operation: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports, and other documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in electronics engineering technology.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in device drivers, networking software, and hardware, as well as software development.
  • Area of Specialization: Development.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, organized, team player, values and ethics, dependability, and dedication.

  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
