Accounting Specialist

Baker Tilly is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Collingwood, Ontario. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of our clients, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of clients
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide exceptional client service and support
- Collaborate with management to ensure seamless integration of new clients into our systems and workflow
- College or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
- Proven technical abilities in maintaining monthly bookkeeping
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks online and other bookkeeping software
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
