Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&J SONS HOLDINGS INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
