Job Title: Early Childhood Resources Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, Early Childhood Resources, the Early Childhood Resources Coordinator plays a crucial role in developing culturally appropriate resources and materials to support early childhood development in Nunavut.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement resources, materials, and programs to support early childhood development in Nunavut.
  • Collaborate with the Early Childhood Development unit, departmental staff, and the community to design and deliver resources and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of resources and programs to ensure they meet the needs of children, parents, and childcare facility operators.
  • Support staff and facility operators in the implementation of resources and programs.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training for licensed centre staff.
Requirements:
  • Recognized degree in Arts, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • One year of experience working in a licensed centre.
  • Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, and Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit.
  • Fluency in one or more of Nunavut's official languages.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $97,372 to $110,510 per year.
  • A 37.5 hour workweek.
  • A Northern Allowance of $16,008 per year.
