Sanitation Worker Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Sanitation Worker to join our team at HyLife. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize butcher and slaughter production areas, equipment, and facilities to meet food safety standards.
  • Operate high-pressure hoses to clean production equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Use cleaning chemicals responsibly and follow Safety Data Sheets to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet tight deadlines and ensure production floors operate efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
  • Collaborative attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to different temperatures, humidity levels, sights, and smells.
  • Experience in housekeeping and sanitation is an asset.
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
