Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Solutions Architect to join our team at BGIS. This role is responsible for the technical direction and delivery of solutions within one of our strategic product areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and direct the delivery of appropriate technical solutions that align with business objectives, requirements, and standards.
  • Direct a cross-functional team engaged in the delivery of technology solutions (including internal and external personnel/technologies and industry-leading solutions).
  • Implement Smart Building designs, including connection designs, IT/OT network architecture, system reliability, and lead technical discussions between BGIS InfoSec and project representatives.
  • Integrate BAS networking and architecture with third-party systems via network connections and integration.
Strategic Planning
  • Accountable for providing direction to the strategic plan of information management systems as it relates to Project Delivery in the commercial/construction space. Oversee the evaluation, definition, development, modification, implementation, integration, and alignment (consistency) of related systems, processes, and tools.
  • Resource planning, project planning, business case development, staff management, systems development lifecycle oversight.
Compliance
  • Represent client interests at IT Governance.
  • Develop, implement, audit, and monitor compliance to standards (audit, client, industry, internal). Implement related best practices.
Relationship Management
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to understand business objectives and requirements.
  • Direct client interaction at a senior level, representing RCC regarding Smart Building discussions, including connection designs, IT/OT network architecture, system reliability, and be the liaison between BGIS InfoSec and project representatives.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering management, or related field with demonstrated knowledge usually acquired with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong business knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of technology elements and how they come together to deliver value within the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of application development methodologies and integration techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience with BAS networking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including tact and diplomacy required to interact with senior clients.
  • Ability to interface at all levels within the organization from front line to executive.
  • Project management and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects to multiple concerned parties – on time – on budget.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and inspire others.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
