Aviva is seeking a skilled Solution Architect to drive the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating solutions that meet Aviva's high standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability, security, resilience, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technology solutions that meet Aviva's business needs and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and architecture designs to support business growth and innovation.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and meet Aviva's technical standards.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimize future solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in solution architecture, roadmaps, and architecture design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance domain, especially claims business process, claims integration, and automation.
  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and Guidewire Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of wider application technologies stack and infrastructure knowledge.
  • Strong technical experience and ability to apply it across various customer and business scenarios.
  • Financial skills to support development of cases and inform key design decisions.
  • Ability to balance long-term direction and necessary short-term goals.
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.
