Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

At CAT inc, we are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT systems, providing the technical backbone for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage IT systems, including servers, network devices, and software applications.
  • Configure and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls), ensuring network security and efficiency.
  • Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support, resolving complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for IT project implementation and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Participate in and provide input to system architecture design, planning, and implementation of new systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT infrastructure roles with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including switches and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, MikroTik). Extensive knowledge of IP, WAN, LAN, and VPN technologies.
  • Working with Windows Server environments (2008 – 2022), Azure cloud services, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • 2+ years of previous experience in Microsoft Azure and MS 365 administration and deployment
  • Experience with SAN, NAS, Azure storage and Veaam backup system
  • Implementing and managing cybersecurity measures and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service and team collaboration
