Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Rus Custom Homes Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, collecting and screening applicants, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and experience
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms and conditions, and company policies
  • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Recruit and hire staff
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and efficient with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word skills
  • Experience with recruitment software and systems
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
