Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Shell Canada. As a key member of our retail sales and service team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail sales and service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Standing for extended periods.
This role is based in a retail store environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
