Hardware Deployment Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Deployment Specialist to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for performing intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Provide deskside support services, including installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network related issues.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
  • Respond to and update calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
  • Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish ETA, and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
  • 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • Vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
