Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

S G INTERNATIONAL TRADING INC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise warehouse staff, coordinate activities, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods, and manage relationships with external suppliers.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate transportation arrangements, manage shipping and receiving, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and training, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions:

  • 30-40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency
