About the Role

As a Strategic Product Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of new insurance products from pre-launch to launch and beyond. You will also enhance existing products to meet our customers' needs, improve back-end integrity, innovate, and reach the defined vision.

About PolicyMe Corp.

Policyme Corp is a Toronto-based startup modernizing insurance and we'd like your help. We're a remote-first team with big ambitions and seeking a motivated Senior Product Manager to join our mighty Product team.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will develop a deep understanding of our customers by talking to them regularly, analyzing performance data, setting up mechanisms for collecting feedback throughout our flow, and defining customer personas.
  • You will ideate with stakeholders across Policyme Corp and then manage a backlog of new builds to meet our customers' needs, improve our back-end integrity, innovate, and ultimately reach the defined vision.
  • You will define what each feature looks like by collaborating with designers for wireframes, engineers for technical details, and customer success members for customer insights. You will write detailed specifications for what needs to be done in order to build and launch new features.
  • You will rally the team to build it by serving as the center-point across all functions for ensuring the new build is completed on-time and to specifications. You will work with the product team to ensure that the new release has been thoroughly tested and is ready to launch.
Requirements
  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, and/or strategy experience, preferably in a consumer technology setting.
  • You can speak to your track record of leading projects and delivering measurable results.
  • You have high emotional intelligence and can 'be the glue' between many different stakeholders in the organization.
  • You are comfortable bringing people together, leading teams, and managing projects with many moving parts.
