Class 1A Home Centre Delivery Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class 1A Home Centre Driver to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering products and supplies to customers, vendors, and jobsites in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a company vehicle and trailer to deliver products and supplies to customers and vendors.
- Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and trailer are in good working condition.
- Verify load security and order accuracy to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
- Perform minor mechanical work on trucks and trailers as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the vehicle and trailer.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Valid Class 1A driver's license and a clean abstract.
- 6 months of Class 1A semi-truck driving experience.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and occasional heavy lifting.
