Class 1A Home Centre Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class 1A Home Centre Driver to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering products and supplies to customers, vendors, and job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Operate freight handling equipment and company vehicles to deliver products and supplies to customers and job sites.
- Verify load security and order accuracy to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with National Safety Code regulations.
- Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members to provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform minor mechanical work on trucks and semi-trailers as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of truck and trailer units to meet brand standards.
- Assist with yard maintenance, inventory counts, and other tasks as assigned.
- Valid Class 1A driver's license and clean abstract.
- 6 months of Class 1A semi-truck driving experience.
- Familiarity with National Safety Code regulations and electronic log systems.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
