Power Plant Operations Manager

Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. is a leading Canadian spirits company with a portfolio of renowned brands. We are seeking a highly skilled Power Plant Operations Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chief Operating Engineer in coordinating Power Plant Operations and Maintenance activities to meet production and plant operations requirements.
- Administer programs involving electrical, mechanical, general construction, and repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment.
- Ensure effective cost management for site Power plant and budget development and ownership.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and governing bodies.
- Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance/PM and operation of all mechanical, electrical, H.C systems and any other related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act (section 25, 26, 27, and 28) per Hiram Walker & Son's Ltd Policy.
- Develop and implement site-wide equipment standards for optimal efficiency and compliance.
- Comply with all HWS management systems and with all Health and Safety policies and legislation.
- Deliver and manage budgets of CAPEX/OPEX projects.
- Assist in required projects and programs to ensure that the Department achieves its annual goals.
