Job Title: Power Plant Chief

At Pernod Ricard, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Plant Chief to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chief Operating Engineer in coordinating power plant operations and maintenance activities to meet production and plant operations requirements.
  • Facilitate power plant operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Manage and deploy resources to meet departmental goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the natural gas procurement team to ensure effective cost management and budget development.
  • Assign and monitor maintenance projects for employees, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Deliver and manage budgets for CAPEX/OPEX projects, leading change initiatives to deliver business results.
Requirements:
  • First-class Power Engineer certificate from the TSSA (or 2nd class with some 1st class examination completed).
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems, including JD Edwards, Kronos, and Rockwell DCS Controls.
  • Awareness of relevant codes and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work extended periods without relief, including overtime, shift work, and on-call duties.
