**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our Listed Products Middle Office team, who will be responsible for derivative trade capture, trade confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and position life-cycle events within the firm.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trade processing, collateral management, confirmations, settlements, cash, position, and trade reconciliations, with a proven track record of managing complex trade validation, maintenance, affirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Manage all aspects of trade validation, maintenance, affirmation, settlement, and reconciliation to ensure the integrity of the entire trade life cycle.
• Validate and settle all periodic events to ensure the accuracy and completeness of trade data.
• Perform position and cash reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Perform trade affirmation with counterparties to minimize risk and ensure timely settlement.
• Monitor T+0 trade capture exceptions in various T0 vendors (Triana, Barx, Omgeo CTM) and take corrective action as needed.
• Process option assignments and expiries, as well as corporate actions, to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Exposure to pricing, valuation, and margining, with a strong understanding of the underlying financial instruments and markets.
**Requirements**
• 4-8 years of experience in OTC Middle/Back office, with a strong background in trade processing, collateral management, confirmations, settlements, cash, position, and trade reconciliations.
• Proficiency in a number of different products, including Equities and Equity swaps, Corp Actions, Options, Forwards, FX settlements, Futures, and any new products that come to market.
• Strong understanding of the importance of teamwork and collaboration, with the ability to establish long-lasting organizational relationships that foster a productive work environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex trade-related information to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on system and process improvements, and new business initiatives.
• Strong understanding of relevant technology and applications, with the ability to work effectively with large data sets and develop solutions to complex trade-related problems.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to work with large data sets and develop solutions to complex trade-related problems. VBA and Python are a plus.
