Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to join our team at FPS Food Process Solutions Corporation. As a key member of our Product Development Group, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the performance and market reception of our new product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and present data related to product performance, client feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct market research on new industry trends and prepare detailed reports to support product development initiatives.
  • Support the product manager by coordinating activities between different teams and stakeholders, setting timelines and milestones, and ensuring that development projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each product and produce regular reports to measure progress.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization on all portfolio products to drive business growth.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with customers and partner companies to foster collaboration and mutual success.
  • Field requests from clients and coordinate within the product team to address their needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Early-stage career professionals with 1-2 years of project or product development related experience, preferably in the manufacturing or food processing industry.
  • Highly developed skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven product management skills, including goal-oriented thinking, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment and work with minimum supervision in a cross-functional team setting.
  • Capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines, understand business needs and objectives, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Will to travel to client sites as required from time to time.
