About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team at CRAZY ZHANG THE KING OF BBQ LTD. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing communication strategies and programs that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. This includes researching and analyzing market trends, identifying target audiences, and creating effective marketing campaigns.

Content Creation and Management

Assist in the creation and management of marketing materials, including brochures, reports, newsletters, and other promotional materials. This includes writing and editing content, designing layouts, and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.

Event Planning and Execution

Assist in the planning and execution of special publicity events and promotions, including coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and ensuring successful event execution.

Public Opinion and Attitude Surveys

Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to gather insights and feedback from customers and stakeholders. This includes designing and implementing survey tools, analyzing results, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Marketing Research and Analysis

Assist in the gathering, research, and preparation of marketing materials, including market research, competitor analysis, and trend identification.

Online Marketing and E-commerce

Assist in the development and implementation of online marketing strategies, including social media marketing, email marketing, and e-commerce initiatives.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Support for Indigenous People

Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations. This includes identifying opportunities for collaboration, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring cultural sensitivity.

Support for Visible Minorities

Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities. This includes anonymizing the hiring process, ensuring diversity and inclusion, and promoting a culture of respect and empathy.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Work Setting

Relocation costs covered by employer.

Work Language

English.

Hours

30 hours per week.
