Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Coordinator, Community Giving to join our team. As a key member of our Community and Legacy Giving Department, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to improve patient outcomes and advance healthcare in our community.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to impactful fundraising initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of others. As a Coordinator, Community Giving, you will be responsible for managing and executing strategies across various fundraising channels, including direct response, tribute and memorial giving, employee giving, monthly and mid-level donors, lotteries, and legacy giving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute fundraising strategies across various channels
  • Coordinate initiatives, programs, and campaigns with the Manager, Community Giving and other team members
  • Create compelling fundraising materials, including reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Support donor recognition and stewardship activities, including events and communications
  • Help HHSF achieve its fundraising goals for all elements of the integrated Community and Legacy Giving Department
Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in fundraising, communication, marketing, and/or business, or equivalent experience
  • One (1+) year's experience in fundraising, administrative support, or coordination
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and self-manage effectively in a changing environment
  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills
  • Ability to condense and package information in a visually appealing and logical manner
