Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Batch Processing and Packaging: You will be responsible for blending, packaging, and other manufacturing tasks, including checking boilers and taking readings/making minor adjustments.
  • Material Handling: You will stage and charge raw materials, load finished products, and accurately weigh and record material charges and times.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will support plant EHS, Maintenance, and Utility personnel as directed by management, and may require moving pallets using a forklift and movement of drums, hoses, and valve operation.
  • Process Optimization: You will use the Distributive Control System (DCS) to move materials and increase production efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: 4th Class Power Engineering qualification
  • Technical Skills: Computer skills (DCS, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.) and math skills (inc. weights, measures, and conversions)
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and control a minimum of 50 lbs. load from floor level to standing position
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round
