Unlock Your Potential as a Parts Advisor
At OpenRoad Auto Group, we're looking for a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Parts department, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to guests and wholesale customers
- Order and arrange parts, setting up delivery as required
- Maintain minimum levels of parts and supplies through data processing records and visual inspection
- Look up stock numbers and prices in the system
- Advise customers on part substitution or modification when exact replacement is not available
- Maintain systemized storage facilities and ensure proper security for parts and tools
- Record and analyze parts, tools, issuing accounts, and quality control data
- Take periodic parts room inventory and establish minimum supply levels
- Issue parts on the basis of requisitions submitted by Technicians
- Work to improve CSI and general customer satisfaction in accordance with OpenRoad's philosophy
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in an Auto Parts advisory role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of automotive equipment, parts, and accessories
- Current knowledge of local sources of supply
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system
- Valid BC driver's license
