Maintenance Person Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Woodland Park Housing Co-operative. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including groundskeeping, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
  • Conduct groundskeeping activities, including lawn maintenance, snow removal, and trash collection.
  • Operate power tools, power lawn mowers, and other equipment as required.
  • Perform tasks under pressure, including working in all weather conditions and meeting deadlines.
  • Work safely and follow WHMIS guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
