Job Title: Truck Trailer Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Service Technician to join our team at K I D TRAILER & EQUIPMENT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units.
  • Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and test and adjust units to specifications.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate in Truck-Trailer Repair.
  • Experience in the field of transportation equipment repair is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools required.
Working Conditions:
