Job Title: Truck Trailer Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Service Technician to join our team at K I D TRAILER & EQUIPMENT. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with a focus on commercial transport truck systems. You will work closely with our supervisors to diagnose and repair complex issues, ensuring that our trucks are in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Review work orders
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Experience in the field of transportation equipment maintenance
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license
