Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-oriented individual to join our team as a Commercial and Life Insurance Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients, educating them on our products, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish personalized telephone contact with clients to create a climate of trust conducive to the sale of commercial and life insurance policies.
  • Sales and Marketing: Seize all sales opportunities, solicitations, and product offers to drive business growth.
  • Marketing Goals: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, leveraging your sales expertise to drive results.
  • Customer Education: Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and provide personalized recommendations.
Requirements
  • Commercial Insurance Sales Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales is required.
  • Success in Sales: A proven track record of meeting sales goals and targets is essential.
  • Self-Motivation: The ability to work independently and motivate yourself to achieve sales targets is crucial.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and commitment to success are essential for this role.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is required.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
  • Technology Skills: A strong understanding of technology and social media is required to effectively market and sell insurance products.
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to motivate and lead others is essential for this role.
  • Cold Calling and Policy Reviews: The ability to conduct cold calls and policy reviews is required.
Qualifications
  • Property and Casualty License: A valid Property and Casualty license is required.
  • Life and Health License: A valid Life and Health license is required, with the ability to obtain within 10 weeks.
  • Education: A college diploma in a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in commercial insurance sales is required.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales, or service, would be an asset.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
