Job Role: Visualizer and Decorator

At Spacestar drywall, we are seeking a skilled Visualizer and Decorator to join our team. This role involves creating stunning visual displays that showcase our interior and exterior painting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, ensuring they are free from dust and debris.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account the unique requirements of each project.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Advise clients on color choices and wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to ensure their vision is brought to life.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, attaching rigging as needed to ensure safe and efficient access to work areas.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, achieving a professional finish that exceeds client expectations.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Client focus, flexibility, reliability, and team player skills
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
