About the Role:

At Onex Contracting Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Artist Craftsperson to join our team. As an Artist Craftsperson, you will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional surfaces through the application of paint, wallpaper, and other finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted or finished.
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
