About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve business objectives
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Financial Control and Compliance
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
    • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
    • Manage financial systems, including accounting software and manual bookkeeping systems
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful financial operations
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance financial skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality industry
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
