We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Leon Lebeniste Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience working with woodworking machines and hand tools to create high-quality furniture and wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form wood parts and components
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to a high standard
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offer mentorship programs to pair newcomers with experienced employees
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
Support for Youths
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
Support for Indigenous People
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for visible minorities

We offer a permanent work arrangement with 30-40 hours per week and English as the primary work language.
