We are seeking a skilled cabinetmaker to join Leon Lebeniste Ltd. team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a solid understanding of cabinetmaking principles. As a cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for designing and building custom cabinets and furniture pieces, working closely with our team to bring our clients' visions to life.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a high school graduation certificate and 2 years of experience in the field. As a cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components
  • Shaping surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Studying plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
  • Trimming joints and fitting parts and subassemblies together
  • Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
