Client Service Manager

BFL CANADA is seeking a highly skilled Client Service Manager to join our Real Estate division in Vancouver or Langley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Client Executive in managing a book of business by developing and maintaining excellent client relationships, with a focus on maximizing retention.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage a book of business by reviewing client exposure and loss history, proposing appropriate coverages and/or solutions, and developing account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with the client.
- Ensure maximum retention of the book by providing exceptional client service, regularly contacting existing clients to ensure quality service is being delivered and needs are met and exceeded.
- Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and the marketing team in a timely and professional manner.
- Submit renewals and endorsements to marketing in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare proposals for new and renewal business.
- Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness, and prepare request for Policy Replacing cover note.
- Participate in industry functions and targeted public relations activities.
- On program review for preparation of underwriting submissions for accuracy and coverage checklists.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for various accounts and/or correspondence.
- Request and follow up with marketing team for outstanding information, endorsements or policy documentation, including review of all policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness, and as required, notes and corrects errors.
- Notes any changes by highlighting on processing form for processors to clearly identify requirements.
- Create abeyances and follows up for outstanding items from marketers and clients.
- Monitor and do second follow-ups on outstanding client receivables; if not attained, brings to Client Executive attention.
- Process incoming mail and directs to appropriate personnel within the department.
- Work with Accounting to resolve accounting discrepancies and related issues.
- Follow BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality procedures, as currently set out and as amended from time to time, and ensures Client Service Assistant also comply.
- Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
- Level 2 license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an account manager.
- Must have technical knowledge of product area or industry.
- Must be completely client focused.
- Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings.
- Good quantitative skills and personal computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Creative application of products, markets, and alternatives.
- Independently carry out assignments.
- Ability to work well with others throughout the organization.

Our Langley office is just off highway #1 by Walnut Grove. We are close to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, connected by the Golden Ears Bridge.
