About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Meridia Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our construction recruitment team, you will be responsible for leading multiple project teams and managing a portfolio of large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure project success.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and associated purchasing to ensure financial management best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to achieve project goals and vision.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement quality management systems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management degree/diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working as a project manager in the general contracting or construction management sector.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project, and technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes, and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals of various disciplines.
