Senior Portfolio Analyst, Technology Specialization

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Investment Team in Montreal or Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing sector coverage on Technology, Media, and Telecom companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial information to determine current and future financial performance of Technology, Media, and Telecom companies.
- Evaluate annual reports and other regulatory filings to identify trends and opportunities.
- Organize and present collected information in a clear and concise manner to support investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain expertise on securities under your responsibility, including financial models and research reports.
- Collaborate with investment teams to contribute to sector-based discussions and provide ongoing coverage of relevant events.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in securities analysis, preferably in the Technology, Media, and Telecom sectors.
- Strong financial modeling skills and ability to create complex models with minimal assistance.
- Experience with investment systems and software, such as Bloomberg and advanced Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to analyze and interpret research and make investment recommendations.
