Rodan Energy is a leading North American energy services company, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Director to lead our sales team in driving growth and revenue across all lines of business. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll develop and execute sales strategies, attract and develop top business development talent, and establish annual business development budgets and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Rodan's revenues across all lines of business in North America.
  2. Attract and develop top business development talent.
  3. Establish annual business development budgets, sales targets, and strategic plans.
  4. Actively identify and implement growth opportunities.
  5. Develop new and iterate existing products by engaging with customers, with an eye on the competitive environment, market conditions, and the ability to scale.
  6. Serve as a key member of the leadership team and provide input on overall business direction, foster a positive work culture, and strong collaboration with other functional leaders.

Requirements:

  1. 15+ years of successful sales leadership experience, having managed sales and marketing professionals.
  2. A balance of strategic vision and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  3. Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding yearly sales team targets.
  4. Strong understanding of North American electricity markets and the energy services sector (specifically demand response, distributed energy resources, and software/energy as a service).
  5. Post-secondary degree.
  6. Ability to deliver on short-term targets, while implementing a long-range strategy and vision.
  7. Poweful verbal and written communication skills utilizing various medium.
  8. Excellent financial and analytical skills.
  9. Product development leadership by developing scalable solutions and innovative business models.
  10. Entrepreneurial approach to business development with a positive "let's figure it out" attitude and a desire to succeed.
  11. Strong C-Level presence, strategic acumen, consultative-selling skills, and executive credibility.
  12. Ability to travel throughout the US and Canada.
