About the Role

VIP AUTO CARE is seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Replace Body Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
  • Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired to a high standard.
  • Dent and Defect Repair: Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers to restore vehicle body panels.
  • Interior Repair: Repair or replace interior components to ensure vehicles are comfortable and safe for occupants.
  • Frame Straightening: Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to ensure vehicles are safe and stable.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in auto body repair.
  • Certifications: Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
