Auto Body Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team at Imperial Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining your workspace.
- Repair and Replace Body Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as needed.
- Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, and mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply primers and repaint surfaces, and mix paint, blend, and match colors as required.
- Interior Repair: Repair or replace interior components, including damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
- Frame Straightening: Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality repairs.
- Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in auto body repair.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
