About the Role

Pacific Auto Body is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining your workspace.
  • Repair and Replace Body Components: Use your expertise to repair or replace damaged body components, including front end components, body components, doors and frame, and underbody components.
  • File, Grind, and Sand Body Surfaces: Use specialized equipment to file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Hammer Out Dents and Defects: Use blocks and hammers to remove dents, buckles, and defects from vehicle bodies.
  • Remove and Replace Damaged Parts: Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Repair or Replace Interior Components: Restore interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim, to their original condition.
  • Repair or Replace Windows, Windshields, and Sunroofs: Replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs with new ones.
  • Operate Soldering Equipment: Use soldering equipment to fill holes, dents, and seams in vehicle bodies.
  • Straighten Bent Frames: Use frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: You must have at least 5 years of experience in auto body repair and restoration.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically able to lift, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: You must be accurate, dependable, flexible, reliable, and a team player.
